Bloom is Back!

Bloom is back on the bar and tasting better than ever! An easy drinking 4% floral honey ale, brewed with local honey from our Lacons hives.

Without bees busying themselves with pollinating, we wouldn’t have crops like potatoes, strawberries, tomatoes, coffee, chocolate, or cotton…

So, to help protect our vital wildlife and promote a nature-friendly environment, in 2020 we set aside 3 acres of land for bees and insects to flourish. Since then, the Lacons bees have been busy producing honey ready for this brew!

As a brewery, we’re always looking for ways to innovate and create unique flavours. With this in mind, we knew that using local honey harvested from our hives would give this beer a truly unique character.

What can you expect when you take a sip of Bloom? This 4% honey ale boasts a beautiful straw colour and a subtle sweet aroma on the nose. On the palate, you’ll experience a well-balanced blend of crisp, floral notes, with hints of huell melon hops to counter the sweetness.

Bloom will be available as a seasonal cask ale in pubs and restaurants across East Anglia from March.
